When Coastal Security & Investigations International needed security company patches for their uniform they visited the Patch Site. With a few clicks of the mouse they received a free custom patch design and quote.

Coastal Security & Investigations International specified in our online quote form that they would like to have a coastal scene with palm trees and a beach. They also explained that they were interested in our metallic silver thread. After our artist read the details of the request he went to work crafting the security company patches. By adding some custom design elements and creating an ocean scene for a center seal he was able to create a unique patch design. The silver metallic thread really added that extra bit of austerity.

Patches 75% Embroidered

Even though the customer specified 100% embroidery, our artist was experienced enough to suggest 75% embroidery. “Some types of security company patches actually look better this way” he said, and when I asked Coastal Security & Investigations International about it they said it looked great. Well, it is a few weeks later now and they have received the patches. They were so happy about the design they are prepared to order twice as much with a re-order.

100% Embroidery & Heat Cut

These security patches were designed with 100% embroidery which means no colored backing will show on the patches – only colored thread. The design he provided to us through our submission form had sharp edges and concave angles which required a heat cut border. A standard merrow border could never achieve the angles used in the contour of this security patch design.

Iron On Security Patch

For firm and easy application they decided to go with an iron on patch backing. The iron on or thermally activated patch backing makes it easy to apply a patch to any type of clothing or fabric material. Just grab any standard iron, place it at medium to low heat and iron back and forth for 5 to 6 seconds. If you smell the threads burning you have the iron set too high.

Rescue Services Custom Patch

This rescue services patch uses the industry standard “Star of Life” with a image of the state of South Carolina inverted inside of it. We designed this patch for our heroes at Prosperity South Carolina Rescue Services in cooperation with Glenn L. Hamm of Poseidon Rescue Equipment and Supplies.

Fully embroidered water rescue patch

When we designed a patch for the Newberry South Carolina Water Rescue Department Glenn gave us some awesome ideas based on his years of experience in water rescue. This water rescue patch features the dive flag, a diver’s head and mask with two swords that become sharks at the blade’s end. The Carolina Blue banners at the top and bottom complement the patch colors well.

EMS Patch with Silver Metallic Thread

Recently a customer of mine was telling me about her new medical service called Medixx. She needed a patch with a certain shape but she just couldn’t explain exactly how it was supposed to be. I knew exactly what she needed – a rectangular shaped patch with a curved top and bottom side. This curve gives the patch a softer impression and is easy on the eyes. The parallel sides give the patch some degree of authority and importance. She decided to use silver metallic thread on her patches after I gave her two versions. Even though the grey version was cheaper, she knew that having the reflective threads would give her company that extra edge in the field and demand respect.
